SCOTT MCNAIR; PRESIDENT & CEO
Scott McNair joined 8th Avenue Food & Provisions in May 2020 as President & Chief Executive Officer. Mr. McNair has been in the food business for over 35 years. His tenure includes senior level positions at Nestle, Conagra, Tyson and Schwan’s. More recently, he led numerous private equity-backed organizations to profitable outcomes. He is a hands-on leader who is known for enabling teams to hit extraordinary results. Mr. McNair earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Messiah College along with his MBA from Fontbonne University. He also teaches an annual class in the MBA program at the University of Missouri – Columbia.
JODY MACEDONIO; EVP & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Jody Macedonio joined 8th Avenue Food & Provisions in August 2020 as EVP and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Macedonio has over 25 years in finance and executive leadership roles. Most recently, she was working at Dean Foods, where she was their EVP and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Dean Foods, Ms. Macedonio spent time as an SVP of Henkel and CFO and VP of FP&A for PepsiCo Frito Lay North America. Ms. Macedonio earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance from Colorado State University along with her MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder – Leeds School of Business.
JASON MULLENS; CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER (CHRO)
As Chief Human Resources Officer for 8th Avenue Food and Provisions, Mr. Mullens is responsible for leading the human resources function, including human capital strategy, talent management, safety, organizational development, talent acquisition and total rewards. Before joining 8th Avenue, Mr. Mullens held various senior human resources positions with Fortune 500 companies where he built a reputation to build and develop strategic human resources functions.
BOB JOHNSON; GENERAL MANAGER OF HEALTHY SNACKS
Bob Johnson is General Manager of Healthy Snacks at 8th Avenue Food & Provisions. Previous to 8th Ave, Mr. Johnson was Vice President at Michael Foods since 2012. Mr. Johnson’s career includes senior finance, sales, and marketing roles at PepsiCo, Kraft Foods, Conagra, and Associated British Foods, as well as working as a senior consultant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. While at Michael Foods, Mr. Johnson served as a board member of the American Egg Board and is currently a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
PAUL FOX; GENERAL MANAGER OF PASTA
Paul Fox joined 8th Avenue Food & Provisions in August of 2020 as General Manager, Pasta. Mr. Fox has a career with over 30 years in food operations and senior leadership positions including two CEO roles. Most recently, Mr. Fox was working at The Maschoffs, where he was Chief Operating Officer, leading all of their production, transportation, feed manufacturing and business development. Before The Maschoffs, Mr. Fox also spent time at Marfrig Group, O.K. Industries, Tyson Foods and private equity-owned Dickinson Frozen Foods.
ANDREW VOGEL; GENERAL MANAGER OF NUT BUTTERS
Andrew Vogel joined 8th Avenue Food & Provisions in August 2020 as the General Manager of Nut Butters. Most recently, Mr. Vogel led the Global Auto Care category business at Energizer Holdings. Prior to Energizer, Mr. Vogel was the VP/GM for multiple TreeHouse Foods business units, and as Vice President of Strategy & Integration he played a key role in transformational acquisition and integration efforts. Before TreeHouse Foods, Mr. Vogel was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and held several roles with ExxonMobil. Mr. Vogel earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University along with his MBA from Harvard Business School.
KIRK HEISSEL; VICE PRESIDENT OF SUPPLY CHAIN
Kirk Heissel joined 8th Avenue in July of 2018 as the Vice President of Supply Chain. Mr. Heissel is a strategic senior operations executive with a proven track record of driving results in challenging business environments for the past 35 years. Previously, Mr. Heissel was Vice President of North American Operations for Dawn Food Products and held operations leadership roles at CSM Bakery Products and Talenti Gelato. Mr. Heissel also held leadership roles in planning and logistics, and manufacturing at Unilever and Mondelez.
JOHN P. LAVEY; ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL
John Lavey joined Post Holdings, Inc. in March 2017 as Senior Counsel for the Attune Food Group which included the Golden Boy Foods nut butter and healthy snacks businesses, and the Attune Foods granola business. As Associate General Counsel, Mr. Lavey serves as the lead attorney for all private brands business segments and provides legal advice and representation in a variety of areas. Prior to joining Post, Mr. Lavey was in-house counsel with Abbvie, Inc., and Senior Commercial Counsel with Energizer Holdings, Inc. Mr. Lavey received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and J.D. from the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law.
MARCEL TAYSSOUN; VP INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Marcel Tayssoun is Vice President of IT at 8th Avenue Foods & Provisions. Most recently, Mr. Tayssoun was Senior Director of Applications with Post Holdings, which he joined in November of 2013 after its spin-off from Ralcorp Holdings. Prior to Post, Mr. Tayssoun spent 15 years with Ralcorp Holdings, which was sold to ConAgra Foods. Mr. Tayssoun has 25 plus years of IT experience in the consumer packaged goods and private label industry with a focus on integrating acquisitions and helping lead IT Transformations.
